Within Northern Ireland Éimear is now offering violin entertainment for after dessert time during the wedding meal.
This will not include background violin music during the wedding meal itself but will be an option for couples who would like lively electric violin music at this point during their reception.
Bridging the gap between the end of the wedding meal and before the band arrive to set up / sound check, this option will liven up the evening reception!
Please note that precise timings and set up areas will need to be discussed prior to the wedding (with the venue and the evening band).
I recently had the pleasure of playing at The Powerscourt Estate at Kate and Guillaume's outdoor wedding drinks reception. Thank you both for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day.
Here's a snippet of Lordes 'Royals' from the drinks reception. Many thanks to Maria for the clip. Lots more live wedding footage clips to follow soon @eimearviolinist
Below is a wedding video produced by Michael Foster.tv of Gavin and Gillian Jackson's special day. I played at their wedding ceremony and during/after their meal at The Dunadry hotel. It was a pleasure to be a part of their special day.
My good friend Gavin Jackson got married to Gilly Gourley at the Dunadry Hotel recently. Having been minded in Gav's...
Congratulations to the beautiful Margaret & Martin on your recent wedding at Lusty Beg Island. Thank you for inviting me to play during your evening reception meal ♫♪. Best wishes for your future together <3!x
It was great to be a part of Donna and James's wedding recently. I played 'Canon in D' for Donna's bridal entrance at the church ceremony. Alongside Michelle, a great local pianist, I played hymns and Purcell's 'Trumpet in D' for their wedding exit. At The Four Seasons, Carlingford, I then played background music during their meal. In between the courses and after the dinner I played well known classics, pop and some Irish/folk songs.
There were some great singers amongst the guests, when I joined them at the tables to play. The bride looked unbelievable in her dress, which had beautiful diamantés around the waist & neck and a stunning full skirt. Thank you to Donna and James for inviting me to play and congratulations on your recent marriage! Photos to follow!
In June, I thoroughly enjoyed playing over Noeleen & Philip's wedding meal atHotel Kilmore, Co Cavan. The bride looked so beautiful and pretty. She had the most stunning dress and flowing wedding veil. Congratulations to Noeleen and Philip and a big thank you for having me to play on your special day. The wedding party and guests were great fun to play for.

The next 7 months are filled with wedding meal bookings, ceremonies and drinks receptions all over the north and south of Ireland. I'm looking forward to meeting and playing for the couples and at different events.
2015 will soon be filled. 2016 is filling up fast and bookings have already been taken for weddings in 2017.
Here are a few photos from the 'Growing something brilliant' event at Belfast Harbour Commissioners.
It was hosted by BBC Northern Ireland TV reporter & presenter, Mark Simpson.
I played at the champagne drinks reception as guests arrived and during the meal. I then played a few pieces after dinner, roaming around the tables. I was honoured to be invited to play by The Northern Ireland Chamber & throughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you to Focus Av for the sound.
I was invited to play at the wedding of Eamonn and Paul and it was one such an amazing evening.
I played on the stage throughout the dinner and did some walking around playing to pieces like 'Human' by The Killers, 'Past the point of Rescue', 'Galway Girl' and others. Eamonn had requested lively music for during the meal. I emailed Eamonn and said that there are usually a few dancers amongst the guests when I am walking around playing. I maybe underestimated the number of guests who would be dancing :D I played after the starter/ in between courses and the video below was of my own instrumental version of 'Human' by The Killers.
Thank you David for the video from your phone as it really captures the atmosphere of Paul and Eamonn's wedding. Eamonn, Paul and the guests were on top form and full of energy! They certainly know how to enjoy themselves! http://youtu.be/VGcx2ccGWIk
After the desserts I continued to play upbeat pop and dance covers with the odd Irish tune thrown in. I was playing on the dance floor surrounded by Eamonn, Paul and the guests. I finished with 'Lord of the Dance' and 'Time to say Goodbye' and was so pleased that there were so many guests up dancing and enjoying the music. I really fed of everyones' energy and they were an amazing group of people! The evening band were fantastic, 'Fraggle Rock', a Galway based wedding band. Fraggle Rock Galway wedding band
Thank you Eamonn and Paul for inviting me to play at your wedding. Congratulations and best wishes for your future together. Thank you also to the staff at Trim Castle, Co. Meath, Eire. It is a beautiful hotel to stay in. I had a room with a view of the castle ruins. The castle was actually the one from the film 'Braveheart'.
It's coming up to a busy time with the end of 2014 taking place this week.
I have more bookings for drinks receptions at weddings and another for playing over and after a wedding meal at Trim Castle in Eire.
I am looking forward to playing at the weddings. Playing over, during and after the wedding meal is extremely popular. There is usually a bit of a lull after wedding meals and this bridges the gap perfectly. I choose different songs for each wedding and it enhances the atmosphere greatly, bringing fun and life to the end of the meal. Photos to come soon from the beautiful weddings at Ballymascanlon House Hotel, Knockranny House Hotel in Westport and a corporate Christmas drinks reception in The Penthouse Suite, The Europa Hotel, Belfast.
Here is a clip from many years ago about our brief appearance as a band in Demi Moore's film, 'Half Light'. It was a 'blink and you'll miss it' clip but we enjoyed the experience and it was nice to meet the ever-youthful Demi :)
