It has been a pleasure to receive so many enquiries already in 2021 in regards to bookings.
The diary/dates for booking Éimear’s electric violin music will be available whenever the Governments’ have advised that the hospitality industry is to open again, fully.
Bookings will no longer be taken for receptions which are to take place in 2021/22/23 until the guidelines become clear for gatherings, events and weddings.
This is also to give couples who booked music for their wedding before the Pandemic priority for a new date.
Dates already booked for 2021 and held with a deposit will also proceed within the guidelines for the hospitality industry within NI and ROI.
Please note that if your have booked Éimear's music and your wedding is to proceed during the Pandemic, all guidelines given by the Government and the venue where your reception will be taken place will be strictly adhered to.
Currently no dancing is permitted at weddings or roaming around the room.
On the day of your wedding reception all of the safety measures which are in place by the venue will be followed. Eimear will be only be entertaining whilst roaming/from table to table when the restrictions are fully lifted.
Eimear will make contact with all wedding co-ordinators to ensure that the necessary safety measures are in place in relation to her performance during the reception.
Once this is agreed there will be no changes to this on the day of the wedding . This is to keep in line with all of the health guidelines which are recommended for during the Pandemic.
Static performances on a stage or playing remaining in the one place are currently recommended with no roaming amongst the wedding party and guests.
Bookings for Éimear's violin music for weddings throughout Ireland will only proceed once the restrictions are fully lifted for indoor receptions which allow the return of live music, entertainment around the wedding meal room and table to table playing.
Deposits/booking fees will be returned for those whose weddings were not allowed to proceed due to the Government restrictions.
'The Pandemic been such a challenging time for everyone.
It has been heartbreaking and challenging for my business in so many ways.
A huge number of wedding reception bookings had to be cancelled in my diary for weddings which were to take place in 2020/21.
The Pandemic has had a severe impact on everyone's lives and it has had a devastating impact on my full-time job as a wedding and events musician.
Playing violin for couples on their wedding day and at events was something I truly adored and was immensely passionate about.
Playing at weddings and events as a soloist-entertaining, was a dream come true! I played in many bands throughout my years as a musician and when my time living in England came to an end, I had an ambition to work as a solo violinist and do what I love the most, entertain with the violin. It was never work or a chore. To see how happy the live electric violin music and entertainment made other people was such a pleasure; the smiles on faces, people dancing along to the tunes, happy and clapping along.
Playing violin live at weddings and events is something I miss immensely. It feels like there is a huge gap in life at the moment without having this purpose. Every single diary booking was something I looked forward to. I very much feel for all of the couples who have had to cancel or postpone their wedding day and for the whole wedding and entertainment industry.
Let's hope things improve soon with the Pandemic and bring on the days and nights when weddings and events can be full of people enjoying themselves along to live music.'
Thank you so much for your patience in regards to bookings.
It will be a pleasure to play again at weddings and events in the near future.
